HISTORY

We take immense pride in our history of advancing technology, including the introduction of optical and kinetic clot detection methods in Coagulation Analyzers in 1969 and unveiling the world's first automated Platelet Aggregometer in 1974. Throughout our history, we have consistently maintained a position at the forefront of innovation, setting standards in the field with the introduction of the initial dual-channel Platelet Aggregometer and offering a comprehensive range of Aggregation Reagents. Notably, we also proudly launched the first von Willebrand (vW) Factor Assay Kit.
In an ongoing commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology, Bio/Data Corporation introduced the groundbreaking Four Channel Platelet Aggregometer, known as Model PAP-4. This remarkable device excelled at conducting chromogenic assays and platelet aggregation tests on micro-volume samples. Today, our flagship Gold Standard Platelet Aggregometer, the PAP-8E, represents a pinnacle of achievement, boasting an impressive eight channels for simultaneous testing, accommodating standard micro-volumes, featuring an intuitive touch screen interface for ease of use, and including an enhanced Ristocetin CoFactor Assay complete with multipoint standard curves, ensuring comprehensive and precise analysis in the field of platelet function and hemostasis.
