Cross Flow Filtration
![]()
Cross Flow Filtration is a unique, efficient method to rapidly prepare and deliver a plasma sample for analytical testing. Microfiltration eliminates the technician from the pre-analytical process and minimizes variables, saving time and expense.
The primary sample tube is never uncapped. The specimen is removed from the tube and the plasma is separated in one operation. Because the separation method is less traumatic to the cellular matter, cells are not subjected to extreme forces or pressures and cells do no excrete their contents into the plasma.
