The PAP-8E is a PC-controlled, 8 channel Platelet Aggregometer. The touch screen operation, on-screen procedure templates, and test menu make the PAP-8E easy to use. Eight test channels accommodate multipoint standard curves and patients in a single run, multiple patients with a single agonist, or a single patient with multiple agonists or dilutions. Now ships with V2 Software. Customers with older Pap-8 models may contact customer service to inquire about P/N 107125 V2 upgrade.

Product Overview

The PAP-8E Platelet Aggregometer is the world's most advanced aggregometer for laboratory applications. It has on screen timers and audible alarms which free the operator to perform other tasks during incubation and test sequences. Standard micro-volume quantities reduce sample and reagent consumption.

Agonist induced procedure templates are preprogrammed for many tests. Templates assure that tests are performed the same way, time after time.

The PAP-8E offers an enhanced Ristocetin CoFactor Assay. Along with providing templates for the standard 3-point (100%, 50%, 25%) reference curve, the PAP-8E offers two user selectable 4-point reference curve templates. One 4-point (100%, 50%, 25%, 12.5%) template may be used to extend the range of the assay below 25% activity. The other 4-point (100%, 80%, 40%, 20%) template provides optional methodology for investigational purposes only.
