Bio/Data Corporation, founded in 1969, is a leading manufacturer, marketer,
and worldwide distributor of thrombosis, hemostasis, and platelet function
products, and a licensor of its internationally recognized Microfiltration
technology for pre-analytical sample preparation.
Our Horsham-based, privately owned company advanced as an innovator in
platelet function testing technology with our series of Platelet Aggregation
Profilers that evolved into the eight-channel Model PAP-8E in 2005. Other
platelet aggregation products consist of reagents, such as ADP, Collagen,
AggRecetin® (Ristocetin), Arachidonic Acid and Epinephrine, to augment a
variety of platelet function testing that includes stickey platelets, HIT and RIPA.
Bio/Data also provides disposables, such as stir bars, test tubes, and pipette
tips.
Laboratories today realize the benefits of Bio/Data's vW Factor Assay®
(Ristocetin CoFactor Assay) kits in screening for and identifying von
Willebrand Disease as well as differentiating between common von Willebrand
Disease variants. In addition, Bio/Data's full line of aggregation reagents
helps to evaluate and monitor patients with many other platelet function
abnormalities. Our aggregometers, reagents, and controls have found their
