instruments, and our support specialists deliver the highest quality of

Technical Service
Bio/Data Corporation’s service technicians offer telephone consultation
and assistance. Our experienced team members are able to assist you
with reagent preparation and use, troubleshooting and specialty test
applications.
Customer Care
Our Customer Care Specialists regularly help medical laboratory
professions like you. Need help figuring out what size of stir bars you
should order? Give us a call. Trying to determine if a specific lot of
reagents are available? Send us an email. Whether you wish to check on
the status of shipment, or obtain an immediate quote, we have answers
and solutions.
Service
- Extended Warranties are available after the instrument’s factory
warranty expires. The purchase of an extended warranty cover the cost
of all parts and labor required to assure the Platelet Aggregation Profiler
conforms to its performance specifications.
An extended warranty provides service at our facility. Warranty holders
agree to prepay transportation and insurance to our site in Horsham, PA.
In return, Bio/Data Corporation will prepay ground shipping cost back to
your location after repairs are complete.
- Preventive Maintenance of the Platelet Aggregation Profiler involves a
thorough inspection of all electromechanical assemblies and components,
a complete cleaning of the interior and exterior, replacement of defective
bulbs and belts, calibration of all circuits and channels, and a full quality
control review including performance testing.
If any major component, such as the display, printer, computer circuit
boards, power supply or stir motor assembly, is found to be defective, we
will advise you before it is replaced or repaired. The cost for such repair
is coved by a factory or extended warranty.
The Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) specifies when calibration
verification procedures should be performed and documented. At all times, you
should follow your laboratory’s protocol, as well as the governing regulatory agencies.
- Non-Warranty Repairs: If your Platelet Aggregation Profiler’s factory
and / or extended warranty have expired, Bio/Data Corporation will repair
your instrument on a Non-Warranty basis, charging for time and
materials.
